We are thrilled to welcome artist Philip Juras to MSU for the Waldorf Lecture Series, hosted by the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design.

Join us as Juras presents "Picturing Our Forgotten Grasslands," a visually rich exploration of grassland ecosystems across eastern North America. Through his paintings, he brings attention to these often-overlooked landscapes and their vital role in our environment and history.

Juras, an Athens, Georgia鈥揵ased artist with degrees in fine art and landscape architecture, has exhibited at institutions including the Chicago Botanic Garden and Illinois 糖心Vlog官方 Museum. His work blends art, science and history to tell the story of these imperiled ecosystems.
